AWS Well-Architected Review

A good cloud strategy begins with a clear-eyed understanding of your systems and goals. An AWS Well-Architected Review is essential.

If you are currently operating your business applications in the AWS cloud, or you are considering a lift and shift to the cloud, evaluating your workload against AWS best practices is an important step.

At Ibexlabs, we believe that good design is good business.

We follow a  four-step process (aRRR) process -- AnalyzeReview, Recommend, and Remediate -- to conduct an organized and structured review of your existing infrastructure and makes recommendations on how it can be improved and scaled.

Remediation is a core part of the review as we build an efficient, optimized, secure, and high-performing infrastructure.

  1. Analyze: Collect workload information.
  2. Review: Evaluate and access the workload using WAF tools
  3. Recommend: Provide a detailed report on findings along with recommendations
  4. Remediate: Use our proven approach to remediate discrepancies.

We repeat these four steps to ensure that your cloud continues to protect that which is most precious to your business.

Why Ibexlabs

Workload Evaluation

We help you evaluate your workload and design the architecture with minimal overhead.

AWS Best Practices

We follow AWS best practices for every aspect of your cloud architecture and every phase of design to keep your environment secure and compliant.

Identification of High-Risk Areas

Identify the high-risk areas and protect your systems and assets by maintaining a stringent, comprehensive security posture.

End-to-End Consultation

Our AWS certified engineers take care of all the essential details of your cloud architectural needs from the beginning of design to operational deployment.

Environment Testing

Environment testing is an excellent process by which you can identify and decommission unaligned resources that add unnecessary costs.

AWS Certified Cloud Experts

Our team has more than a hundred AWS-certified experts who have been managing AWS environments for businesses of different scales.

Six Pillars of AWS Well-Architected Framework

The AWS Well-Architected Framework Review is a structured set of best practices published and maintained by AWS to ensure that customers optimize their workloads. It is a part of your transformational journey to the cloud.

These six pillars include:

  • Operational Excellence: Run and monitor systems to deliver business value and continually improve supporting processes, such as automating changes, responding to events, and defining standards to manage daily operations.
  • Security: Protect data and systems through the establishment of controls to ensure information security, such as integrity of data, user permissions, and controls that detect security events.
  • Reliability: Performance reliability and quick systems recovery from failures, such as distributed design, recovery planning, and adapting to changing requirements.
  • Performance: Streamline allocation of IT and computing resources, such as selecting systems that optimize workloads and maintain efficiency as business needs evolve.
  • Cost Optimization:  Apply AWS resources and purchasing models to avoid unnecessary costs, such as selecting the right type and quantity of resources to meet business needs while maintaining budgetary control.
  • Sustanabtility: Minimize environmental impact of running cloud workloads, such as a shared responsibility model, maximize utilization, minimize required resources, and reduce downstream impact.

AWS Foundational Technical Review (FTR)

The AWS FTR helps you improve the quality of your solution as you can identify and remediate risks beforehand. FTR comes with automated detection of potential security issues. As an independent software vendor (ISV), FTR helps you in reviewing your software for reliability, security, and other focus areas defined by the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Management & Governance (M&G) Lens

The Management and Governance Lens extends the guidance provided by the AWS Well-Architected Review to help you prepare for scale and evaluate if the environment is configured properly. Regardless of your stage of cloud adoption, the M&G Lens provides recommendations on different functions and how they interoperate to provide effective management and governance. This includes:

How You Benefit

Heading

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
